APN Outdoor restructures Marketing team

SYDNEY: Leading Outdoor media provider, APN Outdoor, today announces the restructure of their Marketing team with the promotion of two key staff members based in Sydney.

Experienced Outdoor media marketer, Marie Norman, has been promoted to the role of Marketing Director across Australia and New Zealand, after a successful stint as Marketing Manager in the same region. Norman has been with APN Outdoor since January 2013 – prior to joining the company she held marketing positions at both Eye Corp and Adshel.

Janine Wood, General Manager – Marketing, APN Outdoor commented, “Over the past 10 years, Marie has proven herself to be an expert in Outdoor media marketing. Marie’s confident and experienced hand is widely recognised and respected in the industry, as is her capacity for hard work. This promotion is very much deserved and we are pleased to acknowledge her talent with this appointment.

The restructure also sees Adam Lyons elevated to the role of Marketing Manager from his previous position of Product Marketing Manager. Lyons has been with APN Outdoor since June 2013, having previously worked in marketing at Inlink.

Wood also said, “In his relatively short time with the company Adam has established himself as a valued member of the Marketing team. We are pleased to reward and recognise his contribution and look forward to more big things from Adam in the future.”

In further marketing news, APN Outdoor also welcomes Olivia De Vet and Michaela Piper, both in the capacity of Marketing Executives, to support the expanding team.

The new team structure coincides with APN Outdoor’s announcement of several large-scale research and marketing initiatives to be released in 2014. These new key projects will see APN Outdoor delve further into The Attention Economy and continue to Turn Heads in the industry.

All appointments are effective immediately.
