Jordana Sherlock to head up APN Outdoor’s research and insights
SYDNEY: Leading Outdoor media provider, APN Outdoor, today announces that it has hired Jordana Sherlock as their new Insights Manager – ANZ to head up the company’s expanding research portfolio.
Commencing June 16, Sherlock’s role will oversee both proprietary and client research studies for APN Outdoor. One of the major research projects which will sit under Sherlock’s management is the Attention Economy Study. It is the largest research piece of its kind ever carried out within the Outdoor industry across Australia and New Zealand.
The Attention Economy Study, which is due out mid quarter three, will uncover how audiences in nine major metropolitan Trans-Tasman markets move, think, feel and respond to Outdoor advertising.
Janine Wood, General Manager – Marketing, APN Outdoor ANZ commented on the hire, “Finding someone to work with a large sales team and a big range of advertisers across two countries, coupled with Jordana’s enthusiasm and energy, plus the necessary comprehensive understanding of the media industry and related research experience took some time. But we are very pleased to welcome Jordana to the team.
“We are looking forward to Jordana taking the reins on our Attention Economy Study and providing the market with extensive insights on consumer behaviour with Outdoor as well as other media, smartphone usage and advertising category-specific findings.”
Sherlock brings close to ten years strategic media research experience to the role – most recently she worked at BBC Worldwide and prior to that she was with the Nine Network for almost seven years.
Sherlock’s position is effective immediately.
