Richard Herring - chief executive officer
Richard Herring is Group Chief Executive Officer of APN Outdoor, the largest outdoor advertising company in the Asia Pacific region. He sets strategic direction for the company's operations in Australia and New Zealand, as well as the organisation's Asian businesses.
Richard has more than 25 years' experience in media and sales both in Australia and internationally. He joined Cody Outdoor in 1995 and was appointed General Manager in 1998 and Chief Executive in 2001. He also has a strong background in sales in television and radio. He was appointed Chief Executive of APN Outdoor in early 2004.
Richard holds an MBA and is a board member for the Outdoor Media Association and MOVE.
Andrew Hines - Chief Operating Officer
Andrew Hines is Chief Operating Officer of APN Outdoor, and is responsible for driving the strategic direction of the business in Australia and New Zealand.
Prior to this, Andrew worked for Cody Outdoor as Finance & Commercial Director. He then served as Chief Financial Officer of APN Outdoor before being appointed to the role of Chief Operating Officer in 2006.
Andrew is a member of CPA Australia, as well as the Institute of Company Directors.
Wayne Castle - Group Chief Financial Officer
Wayne Castle is Group Chief Financial Officer for the company's operations in Australia, New Zealand and Asia. He leads corporate development initiatives, oversees the company's capital structure, and helps to set the financial strategic vision for the company.
Phil Eastwood
Phil Eastwood is responsible for the overall performance of the national sales team. Phil has over 20 years' experience in sales and marketing. Phil served for seven years with an FMCG organisation based in New Zealand before spending the past 13 years in the Australian outdoor media sector. He served nine years as Sales Director and National Sales Director for Buspak, formerly the longest-standing player in the transit media sector. Prior to re-joining APN Outdoor as General Manager Sales in 2010, Phil was the Managing Director and Owner of a successful Queensland based outdoor advertising organisation for three years.
Paul McBeth
Paul McBeth is responsible for driving the development of the company's overall marketing strategy in Australia and New Zealand.
Paul has over 20 years' experience in media advertising. Prior to joining APN Outdoor, he served for twelve years with George Patterson Y&R as Head of Media Strategy, and then as Partner. In 2005, Paul was appointed MD of Strategy for Mitchell & Partners before joining APN Outdoor as General Manager Marketing in 2008.
Damien Rath
Damien Rath oversees the negotiation, procurement, management and decommissioning of all static and transit media assets across APN Outdoor's Australian business.
Damien has over 20 years' experience in property, design, and contract management. He joined Cody Outdoor in 1996 and was appointed National Commercial Director in 2000. He then served as NSW & QLD Commercial Director of APN Outdoor in 2004 before being named General Manager Commercial in 2006.
Damien holds a BASc and a BBus (Management).
Greg Attewell
Greg Attewell is in charge of managing APN Outdoor's national asset portfolio, covering both Roadside and Transit assets. This includes the complete life cycle, from build to R&M and eventual pull-down. Responsibilities also extend to APN Outdoor's compliance with state OH&S requirements, management of external suppliers and process management. The assets team also covers R&D reviews for all asset types and implementation of those findings nationally.
Prior to joining APN Outdoor in 2008, Greg served for seven years with AMP. During that time Greg held positions as IT Outsource Manager, Senior Commercial Manager and his most recent role as Head of Business Operations for one of AMP's business units. Prior to AMP, Greg held various positions with an outsource logistics company and ANZ Bank.
Greg has over 20 years experience in managed outsourced commercial arrangements, strategy, risk & compliance, negotiations, projects and sales.
Chris Elliot
Chris Elliot leads the Campaign Delivery Function, which facilitates the production and installation requirements for all static and transit campaigns. He is in charge of managing supplier relationships and agreements, and ensures high levels of customer service are maintained for all internal and external clients.
Prior to this role, Chris was an auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Melbourne until he joined Cody Outdoor as Financial Controller in 2000. He was appointed Financial Controller of APN Outdoor, and then served as Australian Business Manager and Campaign Delivery Director before being named as General Manager Campaign Delivery in 2008.
Chris is currently a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia.
